The Gathering

[..:Blitz:..]

BlitzStar nodded to WolfStar, taking a step forward. "Cat's of all Clans, I'd like to start off this Gathering." he boomed in his deep voice. Every cat that was speaking despite WolfStar's yowl silenced at once. "The prey is running well AirClan. Wolves have been detected on the outskirts of our territory between EarthClan. I suggest everyone keep an eye out for them. By the smell of it, it's a young male and female. They haven't come very far, so there isn't much to worry about yet." He paused, looking down on the cats below before stepping back, nodding to another leader to speak.

LavaStorm nodded to FireMask as she absently listened to AirClan leader speak.

RiverPaw's eyes narrowed at BlitzStar. What a jerk. she thought. She was pretty sure WolfStar had yowled so that he could start the Gathering, not BlitzStar taking it from him. Shrugging, she sat alone and watched the tom.

ForestStar sat calmly, eyes scanning the crowd below.

(Is there even such thing as a Blitz? Lol, I was wondering that.)

(idk. a Blitz kinda sounds like chaos or highstrung lol. it's a cool name though ^^ And Blitz technically wasn't pping because there were a bunch of cats speaking when Wolfstar yowled lol.)

Wolfstar listened to Blitzstar closely. There had been a faint scent of wolf in the air from time to time, he thought. "Thank you Blitzstar." the big tom nodded and meowed graciously then stepped forward. "Earthclan will report next. Prey is running well in EarthClan, even as the cooler weather comes along. I have only scented wolf on the air a couple times, but it wasn't to strong. Thank you for warning us Blitzstar." The leader paused as he scanned the crowd for the two newest apprentices of EarthClan. "And EarthClan has three new apprentices! Lionpaw and Newpaw are here at their first gathering training to be warriors. And our medicine cat, Nightmist, has taken on Maplepaw as an apprentice to train in the ways of medicine." Wolfstar stepped back and nodded for the next leader to report.

(hope it was okay that I said Nightmist just took on Maplepaw)

Lionpaw and Newpaw's eyes shone as their names were announced. Lionpaw looked around at all the strange cat's faces and just grinned. Newpaw laid back her ears in embarrasment and looked down. They were both very proud.

((If WolfStar was going to start, then the post shouldn't have been cut off. And the cat that with so few cats it really isn't neseccary to wait for them to quiet down.))

DaisyNose turned and grinned at the apprentices next to her, nodding.

BlitzStar's eyes traveled to the cats EarthClan had WolfStar had mentioned, stifling a sigh when he say his sister next to them. AirClan and EarthClan were usually quite friendly, but it wasn't a good idea to make too good of friends with cats from other Clans. DaisyNose didn't seem to grasp this yet...

BIrdstar nodded to BLitz star. The she cat stepped forwards and smiled. "Prey is running well in Fireclan. We have three new apprentices, Blazepaw, Riverpaw, and Razorpaw. All is well on our terriotroy and our clan is doing great." She nodded and backed up.

Nightmist nodded when her apprentice was mentioned and smiled down at Maplepaw.

Sleekpaw sat and waited for his mentor to speak in the gathering. He hoped his name would be mentioned.

ForestStar stepped forward, tail waving through the air. "Prey is well in WaterClan. Our ranks are growing, though we are still small." He didn't want to make his Clan seem weak, but they were the smallest Clan here, and the rest of the cats would notice by now. "We have new apprentice and warriors, and all are working hard." he stepped, back, nodding to the other leaders.

Wolfstar waited till Foreststar ended his report, then stepping forward he announced, "This gathering has come to an end." Jumping down from the rock he moved off to the edge of the clearing where the rest of his clan would meet him.
