A muscular grey tom paused at the edge of the island with the rest of his clan behind him. A full moon shone brightly in the sky, illuminating the tops of trees and making everything have a slight silver tint to it. Wolfstar's eyes followed a small firefly that flitted by his nose, glowing softly. Finally, Wolfstar waived his tail as a signal and started on his way down the small hill to the clearing. EarthClan was the first ones here, so the leader simply moved toward the large rock which the leaders gathered to begin the meeting.
A young sandy-coloured tom followed his leader down into the clearing of Firefly Isle. Eyes shining, Lionpaw took in his surroundings.
Next to Lionpaw, was his sister Newpaw. The pretty young cat gazed around in awe at the clearing. "I can't believe it!" she whispered to her brother, "Our first gathering!".

(All of AirClan is coming)
Making his own way down toward the Gathering, was a huge, muscled gray tabby tom. His eyes were sharp and clear blue as the mountain sky. This was BlitzStar, the leader of AirClan. He was quite an impressive sight tonight. HIs head was held hey and there was an immense seriousness about his expression, which was a slight frown. "Let's go, AirClan." he rumbled in his deep voice, heading his Clan down to the island.
Behind the leader was a dainty, pretty she-cat, BlitzStar's age. Her whisker quivered with excitment; This was not DaisyNose's first Gathering, but she had the child-like winder about her at times and Gatherings always brought that out. "EarthClan only here. We're fairly early." he whispered to no one in particular.

Wolfstar saw Blitzstar, the leader of AirClan, descending with the rest of his clan. Waiting until the whole of AirClan descended, Wolfstar stood up from his place and nodded a greeting to Blitzstar, "Blitzstar, glad to see you made it. Lovely night for a gathering." Wolfstar looked up at the moon as if to make a point.
Lionpaw's eyes widened as he saw AirClan step out into the clearing. He couldn't help but to gaze with awe at so many cats.
Newpaw's reaction was like Lionpaw's. "Wow, this is amazing. I've never seen so many cats at once." she chimed. "And look at the leader of AirClan, wouldn't want to get in a hassle with him." The pretty she-cat's eyes were the size of the fullmoon up in the sky.
Nightwing followed Daisynose and Blitzstar into the meeting place. They were fairly early, with only the friendly EarthClan cats here. Getting to the bottom Nightwing dispersed and moved off to another section where she could watch all the cats coming in. The she-cat didn't bother to get up and socialize though. It's not that she wasn't social, but she enjoyed just watching everyone pour into the clearing in peace.

"Yes, it is, WolfStar." BlitzStar nodded to his friend. Out of the Clans, AirClan and EarthClan seemed to be the best on terms. the leader took his place next to him. "Prey running well in EarthClan?"
DaisyNose turned and watched NightWind pad away for a moment, before turning back to the cats already gathered. Spotting two EarthClan apprentices gazing up in awe at BlitzStar, she smiled and padded over. "Oh, pay him no mind you two. BlitzStar's not a fearsome as he looks. Well...on most days."

Both Lionpaw and Newpaw turned to look up at the friendly AirClan she-cat. Lionpaw asked, "Really, he looks terrifying and just as big as Wolfstar." then suddenly confidence came over him, "What's your name?" Lionpaw asked the she-cat. Newpaw's eyes widened at the fact a cat from another clan was actually talking to them, and a warrior at that! "Hi..." she said tentively. "I'm Newpaw and this my brother Lionpaw.".

(All of Fireclan is comming.)
Birdstar padded around the edge of the island. SHe watched as her clan did the same and sat down waiting for them to gather. together. Then she flicked her tail and padded in to the clearing. She smiled as she saw the other clans gathered. IT looked like two of the other calns were already there. She scented Eathclan and Airclan. She got up and padded over to Blitzstar and Wolfstar.

"I'm DaisyNose. I'm BlitzStar's sister, so trust me when I say he isn't all bad. He's just too serious." DaisyNose shrugged, and sat down next to the apprentices. But her demeanor changed as the FireClan cat's appeared. Her fur bristled and her eyes narrowed in slits as she turned and watched the Fireclanners make there way down.
LavaStorm quietly slunk through her Clanmates toward the Gathering. Her heart was pounding in her chest. LavaStorm so did not like Gatherings. Way too many cat's for her lonely Clan lifestyle.
BlitzStar watched BirdStar approach them "BirdStar." he nodded curtly to the FireClan leader, his eyes narrowed slightly.

"It's good thanks, Blitzstar." Wolfstar replied the the AirClan leader. Scenting the air he smelt FireClan cats approaching. Now just WaterClan... the grey tom thought.
Lionpaw smiled at Daisynose, "Oh, okay then." Opening his mouth Lionpaw scented a whole different group of cats approaching. He didn't know what clan it was, but they smelt weird.
Newpaw looked at Daisynose as the new group of cats appeared in the clearing. The nice, friendly she-cat's fur was bristling so she obviously didn't like the new clan so much. Newpaw wondered why.
Nightwing watched from her position at the dge of the clearing as FireClan filed in. Her eyes narrowed. it's not that she hated FireClan or anything, it's just that AirClan and FireClan were not on the best of terms sometimes.
Firemask followed Birdstar into the gathering place. Looking around he saw cats from both EarthClan and AirClan. He watched as one of the warrior she-cats from AirClan narrowed her eyes. Firemask's tail twitched nervously, he never really liked hostilities much. The orange tabby sought his apprentice Blazepaw to make sure he was okay, but didn't seem to spot him. Must already be in the crowd... he thought. Firemask then spotted Lavastorm not far away so he made his way over to her. It was alot better than trying to be friendly the AirClan cats. Sitting down next to her Firemask said, "Do you not like gatherings much?" he asked her.

Birdstar nodded to the other tom. "Blitzstar"She mewed and sat down. She turned to Wolfstar and nodded to him as well "Wolfstar."she mewed. "I assume prey is running well?"She mewed curtly to Blitzstar.

ForestStar appeared, WaterClan following behind him. The rankings were small, and they were the smallest Clan here, which put ForestStar in unease. He trotted toward the other leaders that had arrived, nodding to them.
A black and white she-cat trotted in with EarthClan, gazing around. This wasn't her first Gathering, but most the cats here were brand-new. The sweet she-cat, flicked her ear.
A handsome ginger tom padded in with AirClan, smiling to himself, eyes alight. The loyal tom gazed around, not being to most social, but not being a complete outcast, like he once had been, he searched for cats to join.
A young silver she-cat gazed around in awe. She smelled of FireClan, and this was RiverPaw's first Gathering. She gazed at the leaders, eyes wide. She imagined it like this, but not quite so great. There was so many cats, and she was overwhelmed by all the sounds and smells.

Sleekpaw padded in after his leader. He smelled the air and smiled. So many cats. More that he had seen all his life. This was his first gathering and it was very exciting. He padded around and scented Fireclan. He walked over to a young she-cat about his age. She was of Fireclan he could tell. "Hi! I'm Sleekpaw!"he mewed.
Nightmist walked around followed by her apprentice Maplepaw. This was Maplepaw's first gathering as well. She smiled down at her apprentice. She flicked her tail to show her to come to where the other medicine cats were standing.

RiverPaw jumped at the voice, spinning around, blinking. "Uh, Hi?" she meowed, a bit awkwardly. She wasn't sure what to say, and she wasn't used to taling to cats from other Clans as if they were friends. "RiverPaw." she meowed, glancing at her paws.

Sleekpaw smiled and mewed to Riverpaw "Your from Fireclan I can tell." he stated. He looked around. "Wow there are a lot of cats here." he mewed "Is this your first gathering to?" he asked. He sat down and tucked his tail around his paws.
BirdStar looked over to Foreststar as he approched her and the other leaders. She nodded in greeting.

"Yes, BirdStar. And how is FireClan?" BlitzStar's reply was clearly out of politeness. He couldn't care less the answer BirdStar would give him.
DaisyNose watched the FireClanners sit. "FireClan." she muttered to the two EarthClan apprentices. "Never trust a FireClanner. They'd skin you soon as look at you."
LavaStorm blinked as FireMask approached her. "I'm not a huge fan of them." she admitted.

(Okay, meeting time  ) Wolfstar looked up at the sky and yowled. This was a signal for the gathering to begin. The big grey tom jumped up into his place on the rock. Lionpaw and Newpaw both turned their heads to see their leader yowl for the gathering to begin. They both sat attentively and waited for the first speaker. Nightwing gotup from her place in the shadows and went over to sit beside Flamestripe. The night black she-cat looked up to see the leader of EarthClan had jumped up to the rock. Runningriver turned her head toward the leader of earthClan and patiently waited for the meeting to begin. Firemask just nodded at Lavastorm's reponse when he heard the yowl. "Probably not much to report this time." he said aloud. |
